"Watt Is Electricity is the show that I started with back in 1987, and it is still my most popular and my personal favorite. It includes some of my most dramatic demonstrations, which have been featured on the Discovery Channel, CNN, CBS This Morning, and Late Night with David Letterman".

This award-winning presentation has thrilled and amazed crowds at schools, colleges, and museums from Key West to San Francisco. The program is filled with spectacular demonstrations such as the hair-raising Van de Graaff static generator, the amazing Faraday's Cage and the four foot sparks from the one million volt Tesla coil.

Watt is Electricity has been carefully designed to be entertaining as well as educational. Audiences have oohed and ahhed while learning the basics of electricity and electrical safety. Topics covered include electrical history, static charges, volts, amps, watts, batteries, generators, alternating and direct current, and high frequency electricity.

Watt is Electricity is suited for audiences from kindergarten through adult, and works well with audiences of mixed ages. Even though very young students may not absorb all of the scientific information, they find it an enjoyable presentation and they have a high retention for the safety aspects of the program.

The show can be presented in a wide variety of locations, from gymnasiums to exhibit areas or even a large classroom. The presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes, with an optional question and answer period afterwards. I can easily work with audiences of up to 1000. For larger audiences, please give advance notice.
